We exploit extraordinary properties of polymers, ceramics and glass to fabricate diverse forms of biomaterials e.g. hydrogels, scaffolds, films & hollow tubes. 3D printing and other classic fabrication techniques were practiced here.

Growth Factor Production

Human recombinant growth factor proteins are produced for use in regenerative medicine. We use genetic engineering & biochemical processes to create and purify the proteins. We aim to push the protein product through FDA approval.

Drug Delivery Systems

Nanoparticles, microspheres, films, and other forms of systems are created to encapsulate different kinds of drugs. We develop release systems using various strategies e.g. polymer relaxation, light-responsiveness, and non-covalent interactions to fine-tune the release behaviours to meet the requirements of clinicians.

Large-scale production is crucial for transferring our innovation to industry. We study the optimization of manufacturing parameters and processes.
